The Oregonian, A&E Neighborhood Extra!
Friday February 28, 2003
Joy Wilson Band> After relocating three years ago to Portland from Durango, Colo., Wilson continues to develop her buoyant folk-pop sound. Now she's got a third album, "In the Meantime." When hearing her uplifting tunes, one can't help but wonder how they ended up opening for Steppenwolf, Foghat and Blue Oyster Cult, as they did a few years back at an outdoor rock festival. 9pm Saturday, Bitter End Pub, 1981 W. Burnside St. $5 cover charge.
